Mortgage Rates for Bank of America 12-16-2010

Yesterday Bank of America managed to keep itself apart from the rest of the mortgage industry by keeping it’s rates stable. If you were looking at their yesterday, you may be surprised because their back up today.
Only their 5-year adjustable-rate interest-only (IO) went up today to 3.625% from 3.500%. The rest managed to be consistent.

The 30-year fixed rate mortgage went up to 4.875% from 4.750%. This might not be as bad as other lenders that moved rates up to above 5%, like Wells Fargo or Chase. But as rates slowly start to increase, we may see BofA’s rates rise above 5% very shortly.
5-year adjustable-rate mortgages (ARM) went up to 3.375% from 3.250%. While the 30-year fixed rate interest-only (IO) adjusted to 5.500% from 5.375%.
